Weinberg freshman Aira Contreras was one of more than 100 people who gave blood at Norris University Center as part of a drive hosted by Student Blood Services, a Northwestern student group. Donors were encouraged to come decked out in Halloween costumes for the drive, although organizers said most came dressed normally. Organizers said they had received nearly 80 pints of blood by 6 p.m. Wednesday, meeting their quota for the day. The blood drive will continue from noon to 6 p.m. today.
