In the mid-90’s, Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls made the term “three-peat” a household phrase. If women’s lacrosse prognosticators are correct, so will the Northwestern lacrosse team.
After two straight national championships, the team that retained varsity status just six years ago is being picked to win a third. Lacrosse Magazine, Inside Lacrosse and the Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) all ranked the Wildcats preseason No. 1.
