The OfficeThursday, 7:30 p.m. (NBC)
Finally! The Jim and Pam reunion we’ve all been waiting for. It may be silly to get excited about phone conversations between fictional characters, but you can’t help it. Now, if only Jim would come home. And let’s not forget about Michael Scott on a sugar high. Jan has Pam keeping tabs on Michael, but I can’t imagine The Office without Steve Carell, so I’m not too worried about Michael’s future at Dunder Mifflin. Speaking of the future, who knows if Ryan will ever get that sale he’s been training for, but at least we got to hear Dwight tell him, “Just as I am going to plant my seed in you.” Best line of the night!
The DuelThursday, 9 p.m. (MTV)
Climbing suspended ladders, drunken hook-ups, thirtysomethings who still don’t have their lives together – it’s that time of year again. You know, when our favorite MTV reality veterans head off to an exotic location to compete in ridiculous challenges for money, prizes and a sliver of reality show dignity. This year the gang heads off to Brazil and for the first time, the competition is every man for himself, making it more difficult for everyone to vote off Beth. After only two episodes, thing are looking good this season: surviving cancer, Beth being punched in the face, crying, yelling…Did I mention Beth getting punched in the face?
Gilmore GirlsTuesday, 7:00 p.m. (CW)
This is the last season for our Stars Hollow girls, so watch now while you still can. Logan and Rory are still doing the long-distance thing, which is getting a little boring. Maybe Rory’s new eccentric artsy friends will spice things up. Unlike her daughter, Lorelai’s love life is heating up. Dating Christopher makes for an interesting situation, but if the movie date Chris planned is any indication of their future, things look good for the reconnected love birds. Richard is now teaching at Yale, leaving Emily some extra free time to dine with friends…and get arrested, the highlight of every viewer’s night – as well as Lorelai’s.
