At the Evanston Township High School Board of Education’s meeting Monday night, Board President Ross Friedman submitted his list of board committee assignments for the 2006-07 school year for discussion.

Board members Margaret Lurie and Martha Burns were assigned to the stipend committee, but Board Vice President Jane Colleton expressed interest in retaining her assignment on that committee. Lurie agreed to give up her position to Colleton.

Former Board President Mary Wilkerson said she still felt like she had some work left to do on the discipline committee. It was decided that board members will stay on their current committees until the completion of the school year.

The other assignments are as follows:
