Family Focus Inc., a Chicago-based organization that promotes the well-being of children and their families, is seeking to hire a new Evanston director.
John Turner Jr., who served for one year as director of Family Focus Evanston, 2010 Dewey Ave., stepped down Sept. 10 to pursue other opportunities and clinical work.
“John helped make a transition,” said Kevin Limbeck, Family Focus’ executive director. “He sustained the solid base of our program.”
Turner took the position after his predecessor, Delores Holmes, resigned after 26 years of work at the center.
John Friedland will serve as interim director until the organization hires a permanent director.
