History has shown that being the underdog going into a big competition can improve a team’s performance. But the way the Northwestern women’s golf team has been shooting, it might not have that luxury.
The No. 17 Wildcats hope to continue their hot play at this weekend’s Lady Buckeye Spring Invitational in Columbus, Ohio. It will be NU’s last competition before the Big Ten championships, which loom at the end of April.
“The Scarlet Golf Course is one of the best collegiate courses in the nation,” NU coach Chris Regenberg said.
