Sarah Albrecht was named the American Lacrosse Conference Player of the Week on Wednesday, becoming the first Northwestern player to earn the honor in the newly formed conference.
Albrecht led the Wildcats to victories over Ohio and Duquesne this weekend at Lakeside Field. She had an assist and two goals, including the game winner, in NU’s 9-8 victory over the Bobcats on Friday. Albrecht then came back with a goal and two assists against Duquesne on Sunday.
The freshman was also responsible for half of NU’s offensive output in a 13-6 loss to Brown on April 8.
