With Thanksgiving Break past and Winter Break approaching, two of the busiest traveling seasons of the year will reflect how Americans feel in the wake of the Sept. 11 attacks and the Nov. 12 crash of American Airlines Flight 587 into a residential area in Queens, New York, which killed more than 250 people on board and on the ground.
