An Evanston resident told police his vehicle had been vandalized while parked in an alleyway in south Evanston between Monday night and Tuesday morning.
The man typically parks his vehicle in the alleyway in the 400 block of Sheridan Road, Evanston police Cmdr. Joseph Dugan said. Recently, the man has had two incidents where someone wrote “stop douche” in the dirt on his vehicle.
Dugan said the man legally parks in the area and has had no issues with anyone. The man left his vehicle in the spot overnight Monday and returned to discover a long scratch along the driver’s side from the front door to the rear of the vehicle.
There are no suspects, Dugan said.
