An Evanston man was shot in the leg Tuesday in the 2000 block of Dodge Avenue, police said.

Police responded at about 12:55 p.m. to a report of shots fired. The man, 21, was transported to Evanston Hospital with non-life threatening injuries, police said.

Detectives are currently investigating the incident and temporarily closed Dodge Avenue between Foster Street and Simpson Street, police said.
