Mayfest and Northwestern Ski Trip teased the name Tauheed Epps on the Dillo Day website on Monday night.
Mayfest posted a fake airplane ticket with Epps, the legal name of rapper 2 Chainz. Epps, who hails from College Park, Georgia, released his debut solo album, “Based on a T.R.U. Story,” in 2012.
NU Ski Trip co-sponsored the teaser and announced the dates and location of its 2014 trip. Students will fly into Denver, with the trip running from Dec. 13-19.
Earlier Monday evening, NU Ski Trip tweeted the group was partnering with Mayfest to announce a Dillo Day headliner. Mayfest has not yet confirmed this year’s headliner.
Dillo Day is scheduled for May 31. Chance the Rapper has already been announced as the festival’s daytime headliner.
