An Evanston teen was arrested Thursday after a security guard found him inside his car, police said.
The guard, a Des Plaines resident, was working an overnight shift in the 1200 block of Sheridan Road when he spotted Angelo Dennison, 18, according to police. Dennison, of the 1800 block of Emerson Street, was holding the guard’s cell phone, and the glove box was open.
The guard detained Dennison while he waited for officers to arrive shortly after midnight, police said.
Dennison was charged with a felony count of burglary. He is scheduled to appear in court July 24.
