A Northwestern Memorial Hospital worker was robbed Friday night while waiting for a shuttle bus on the Chicago campus, according to a University security alert.
The woman was talking on her cell phone when two men on bicycles rode by, turned around and took the phone on their second pass shortly after 8:10 p.m. in the 300 block of East Huron Street, the University said. The thieves then headed east on Huron Street.
No weapon was involved, and the hospital employee was not injured.
Chicago and University police searched the area but did not find the two men. Authorities could not provide a detailed description of the robbers.
