Construction on a steam work project has altered the transportation routes near Norris University Center and along the Lakefill. The work, which began Monday, will continue until Sept. 14.
The access road to the north of the University Library is closed, and parking spaces along the road to the west of the Lakefill pond have been relocated. Deliveries to the library must enter from South Campus Drive.
The bike paths on the west side of Norris and along the pond up to the bridge are also closed.
Signs directing road and bike path closings have been put up to warn vehicles and bicycles.
A pedestrian walkway provide pedestrian access through the construction.
Visit the Northwestern website for a map of all the construction occurring this summer.
