A Northwestern student’s car was damaged in a hit and run early last week, police said.
The student told police she parked her 2010 gray Kia Rio in the upper level of the South Beach parking structure at 1847 Campus Drive around noon last Monday, University Police Deputy Chief Dan McAleer said. Upon returning Wednesday night, she found scrapes on the front bumper of her car, as well as a rip in the paint molding and burgundy paint transfer consistent with vehicular impact, McAleer said.
Police are reviewing video surveillance outside of the parking area to find possible suspects.
