Someone stole a student’s bike outside Kresge Hall on Sunday, police said.
University Police responded to a theft call about a stolen bike outside Kresge Hall, 1880 Campus Drive, at 9:30 p.m., Deputy Chief Dan McAleer said. A Northwestern student had locked his Schwinn bike on the bike racks outside the building at approximately 2:30 p.m., and when he checked on it four hours later, he saw the bike cable lock was cut and his bike was missing.
Police are waiting for the student to retrieve a serial number for the bike, McAleer said.
