The Buffett Center will host Tariq Ramadan Friday at 4 p.m. in the McCormick Tribune Center Forum. Ramadan is a professor of Contemporary Islamic Studies at Oxford University. He has been named 49th among the world’s top 100 contemporary intellectuals by “Foreign Policy” magazine. His talk will focus on his new book “What I Believe.”Ramadan is also the author of the book, “Islam, the West and the Challenges of Modernity.”
The event is free and open to all.
