When I was a freshman, I had two classes up north in Tech every quarter, and though I was often late, at least I could ride my bike up to Tech’s front doors and run right in.
Now as a senior, I once more have a class at Tech, but not only is the bike parking ridiculously far away from the entrance, but said bike parking is also insanely crowded such that dozens of bikes have nowhere to lock to. It is also a huge hassle to pull bikes in and out of the crowded racks. All this to have a questionably prettier, but ultimately useless, Tech plaza. Surely the engineers would frown upon this egregious case of putting form before function.
