Feminist Porn Star Courtney Trouble visited Northwestern on Tuesday night at Frances Searle Hall for a discussion and screening of the latest film she directed. Sexual Health & Assault Peer Education, The LGBT Resource Center and the Gender Studies Undergraduate Board hosted the event. Laura Stuart, staff adviser for SHAPE and coordinator of sex education and violence prevention at NU’s Health Services, said she hopes events like this would encourage students to “explore sexuality in a healthy manner.” Maria Lei, an event coordinator and SHAPE representative, said the event “aims to give a new view to mainstream porn.”
