Coming off a win at the Windon Memorial Classic Sept. 30–Oct. 1, the 10th-ranked NU team combined to shoot a 3-under 281 after the first 18 holes.
The Wildcats are nine strokes behind leader University of California-Irvine’s 12-under 272.
The second round of the tournament, which is being held at the Meadow Club in Fairfax, Calif., was postponed due to darkness and will be completed along with the third round today.
The 54-hole tournament is hosted by the University of California and includes six top-50 teams.
