John Ferrara, a freshman at Medill, hails from Arlington, VA – just outside Washington, D.C. John is double majoring in computer science and journalism because of his intense interest in tech, innovation, and entrepreneurship. John’s interests also lie in politics, having attended high school less than five minutes from the Capitol building.
