Junior quarterback Trevor Siemian dodges a Minnesota defender Saturday. Siemian struggled to coordinate his offense, threw two costly interceptions and fumbled the ball. He was the only quarterback out on Ryan Field, as senior Kain Colter, who left last week's Wisconsin contest due to injury, was reserved in case of emergency.

Northwestern went toe-to-toe with Wisconsin on Saturday, facing the Badgers in Madison during their Homecoming weekend. The Wildcats crashed and burned in their second conference matchup, losing by a huge 35-6 deficit.
