Blotter: House and church burglaries

A burglary was reported Sunday at Mt. Pisgah Ministry.
The incident was reported by a member of the church who arrived at the building, which is located in the 1800 block of Church Street, at around 9:30 a.m. to prepare for Sunday services. They noticed the pastor’s office had been ransacked.
Around $650 of camera and computer equipment was reported missing. There was also graffiti spray painted on a brick wall outside the building, Evanston Police Cmdr. Brian Henry said.
Evanston Police Department has no suspects at this time.
House burglary
An Evanston resident’s packages were stolen from her home Friday morning and her lock was found damaged.
The packages contained multiple food items, a 6-pack box of hand sanitizer wipes and other supplies valued at a total of around $312. An officer returned the packages to the 36-year-old resident after finding them in a park near her home in the 600 block of Hinman Avenue around 4:41 p.m., Henry said.
EPD has no suspects at this time.
