Woman arrested in connection with aggravated assault
Evanston police charged an Evanston woman with aggravated assault Wednesday.
Police responded to a call of disturbance at the Fleetwood-Jourdain Center, 1655 Foster St., on Feb. 2, said Cmdr. Jay Parrott, Evanston Police Department spokesperson. Officers found the 39-year-old threatening to beat up a 16-year-old boy and shoot him.
Police arrested her at her home. The woman will appear in court March 14.
Man charged with aggravated assault
An Evanston man was arrested in connection with aggravated assault Monday.
Evanston police responded to a call of disturbance at a park near Howard Street and found the 32-year-old arguing with a woman. He fled the scene, and then he argued with another man, cutting the other man’s hand with a pocket knife.
Police arrested him in the 7000 block of Ridge Avenue, Chicago. The man will appear in court Feb. 16.
