While the University tones down much of its activity over the summer, Norris is providing free entertainment to those who take advantage of the summer programming offered by the University Center.

Every Tuesday and Thursday through Aug. 5, the East Lawn of Norris plays host to the “Lunch on the Lake” at noon. The series features a variety of music aimed to reach the broad audience of Evanston and NU community members who attend the lunches.

The series features food provided by NU’s food service nuCuisine, which sells barbeque meals for $6.50 at each event. Visitors are also welcome to bring their own lunches to enjoy the concerts. The concert is moved indoors to “1999,” Norris’ food court, in the event of inclement weather.
