Chicago-based artists recited poetry advocating for reproductive rights on Monday. The event was a partnership between Young Chicago Authors — which hosted the gathering — and Women & Children First. Hosted by Dr. Eve L. Ewing, more than 15 poets took the stage during the event and performed a piece. A portion of the proceeds are going to The National Network of Abortion Funds.
