Graduates and their families celebrated during the 2019 commencement ceremony at a sun-soaked Ryan Field. Historian and educator Lonnie Bunch delivered the commencement address, telling graduates to point themselves in a direction where they can do good and to draw on others for support. Bunch was one of six recipients of an honorary degree.
