Director Nick Bowling seeks to challenge gender roles in his modern adaptation of “Guys and Dolls.” The classic 1950s musical puts the world into a binary of men and women, which Bowling breaks down by casting some actors in opposite-gender roles. “Guys and Dolls” runs Feb. 15 through March 3 at the Ethel M. Barber Theater.
