Despite the rain, graduates and their families celebrated the 2018 commencement at Ryan Field Friday. When he spoke, University President Morton Schapiro joked about the weather and promised to accelerate the ceremony. The graduates — most wearing ponchos to protect against the rain — cheered in response, and remained in good spirits.
