Sending their seniors out on a high note, No. 23 Northwestern crushed Minnesota on Saturday at a chilly, gusty Ryan Field. As the weather turned from rain to sleet to snow, the Wildcats built up a formidable lead and ultimately won 39-0. Senior running back Justin Jackson powered NU’s offense with 166 yards on the ground, and the team’s defense smothered a Minnesota team coming off a 54-point showing against Nebraska.
