NU undergraduates, staff visit Art Institute in One Book program

Students ventured into the heart of Chicago on Thursday with faculty and staff to participate in an annual event at the Art Institute of Chicago.

Northwestern partnered with the Art Institute to host two Thursday night events, said Joe Lattal, assistant director of Student Organizations and Activities.

The partnership allows NU to customize the night to fit with a campus experience, Lattal said. Part of the night featured a tour in collaboration with One Book One Northwestern, which included art and artifacts from the American Revolution.

Lattal estimated that roughly 400 people attended similar events at the Art Institute in years past.
