Captured: 28th annual Evanston Garden Walk

Nine residential gardens were featured in Sunday’s 28th annual Evanston Garden Walk, the proceeds of which went towards the Evanston Environmental Association.

Eight of the gardens, which ticket-holders could tour at their leisure, were at single-family homes located in all corners of Evanston. Andrew Emery, whose Sheridan Road home and garden included a yew hedge and faux fountain, said he expected 300 to 400 visitors to stroll through during the course of the afternoon.
