Commencement was held Friday at Ryan Field, as the Class of 2017 gathered to celebrate their accomplishments and graduation. Tennis star and equality advocate Billie Jean King delivered the commencement address, imploring graduates to fight for a more equitable world and urging them to “give to life.” King was also one of five individuals granted an honorary degree.
