An estimated 250,000 people attended the Women’s March on Chicago, including many Northwestern students who traveled south on Saturday morning to join the rally near Grant Park. Similar marches took place in several U.S. cities, including New York, Los Angeles and Washington, D.C., where nearly 500,000 people were estimated to have gathered for the post-inauguration event.

Some cities outside the U.S. even held their own marches, such as London, where a Daily photographer caught the action while studying abroad.
