Captured: Volleyball upsets No. 3 Penn State

The Cats picked up what is easily the biggest win of the season so far on Saturday when they topped the back-to-back defending national champions, No. 3 Penn State. NU’s season had started off strong, but three consecutive losses against ranked conference opponents had them sitting below .500 in Big Ten play going into Saturday’s contest. Saturday’s triumph pulled the Cats back to even in conference play at 3-3 and has them in striking distance of the top teams in the conference.
