Captured: Evanston’s Ethnic Arts Festival

Welcome to The Daily’s photo blog: Captured. This is a space to share photos by The Daily’s staff as well as photos from members of our community. Students can submit entries to be considered from their classes, vacation or just from around NU by emailing [email protected].
The Ethnic Arts Festival was held this past weekend at Evanston’s Dawes Park, featuring live music and dance performances, hands-on art activities, international cuisine and over 50 vendors whose arts and crafts represented a variety of cultures around the world. Although the festival was shut down Saturday afternoon due to rainstorms, the vendors and guests were back on Sunday for more festivities.
