Northwestern’s 20-14 victory over No. 17 Wisconsin on Saturday ranks among the team’s biggest in recent history. The Wildcats led 10-0 and 20-7 in the fourth quarter, behind 162 yards rushing from freshman Justin Jackson and clinched the win with two interceptions from redshirt freshman safety Godwin Igwebuike, who had three total on the day. After the game, NU students rushed the field to celebrate the program’s first home win over a ranked opponent since 2010.
