If you’re looking for weekend plans, here are some performances you won’t want to miss.

Matilda the Musical

Cahn Auditorium
Friday and Saturday 7:30 p.m.
Tickets: $10-35

The Dolphin Show, America’s largest student-run musical, presents its 80th annual production, “Matilda the Musical.” Based on the book by Roald Dahl, the musical follows young student Matilda and her classmates as they rebel against their principal Ms. Trunchbull.

Mee-owgic Mike’s Last Dance

McCormick Auditorium
Thursday 9 p.m., Friday 7 and 10 p.m., Saturday 7 p.m.
Tickets: Pay what you can on Thursday, $5 on Friday and Saturday

Campus comedy group Mee-Ow Comedy is a short-form comedy group combining sketch comedy and improv. The show also features live music from Mee-Ow’s own band.

Symphonic Wind Ensemble

Pick-Staiger Concert Hall
Friday 7:30 p.m.
Tickets: $5-8

The Bienen School of Music’s Symphonic Wind Ensemble is performing a collection of works by European composers, including Dmitri Shostakovich. SWE is the smallest and most selective of Bienen’s wind ensembles and is directed by Mallory Thompson, who will also be conducting the performance.

Northwestern University Symphony Orchestra

Pick-Staiger Concert Hall
Saturday 7:30 p.m.
Tickets: $5-8

The Northwestern University Symphony Orchestra is Bienen’s premier orchestra, performing works from the 18th, 19th and 20th centuries. NUSO will be performing with conductor Donald Schleicher, with one piece conducted by Andrew Ritchie.
