Northwestern players, coaches and staff entered the field for their game at No. 10 Wisconsin on Saturday with their arms locked. The gesture follows widespread pregame demonstrations in the NFL last week. In a Chicago Tribune report, coach Pat Fitzgerald said taking the field in that manner was a “decision the players made.” Teams are not normally present on the field for the national anthem at games at Camp Randall Stadium.
