Set on an earlier weekend than in years past, Amdur Productions has brought the third annual Evanston Art and Big Fork Fest to downtown Evanston this weekend.

The festival, centered at Church Street and Sherman Avenue, features 130 artists and drew hundreds to the downtown area Friday. From 6 to 6:30 p.m., Saturday June Band performed on the main stage, drawing listeners and those enjoying the food along Church to sit and dance nearby.

Food features local fare, such as Smylie Brothers Brewing Co., and art ranges from photography to sculptures, paintings and jewelry. The festival continues through Sunday evening.
