For the first time since 2012, Northwestern has multiple players on All-Big Ten teams.

Junior guard Bryant McIntosh was a unanimous selection to the All-Big Ten second team, while junior guard Scottie Lindsey was named to the third team by the league’s coaches, the conference announced Monday.

McIntosh is averaging 14.6 points per game and a Big Ten-best 5.4 assists per game. He’s scored in double figures in nine of the last 10 contests and broke the program record for career assists in Sunday’s loss to No. 16 Purdue.

After averaging just 6.4 points per game during his sophomore year, Lindsey proved a revelation in Evanston this winter. The junior posted double figures in 20 straight games to start the season and led the team in scoring for most of the year before illness slowed him late in the campaign.

Sophomore forward Vic Law was also named to the All-Big Ten defensive team after shutting down several of the league’s top scorers this season. He held Iowa guard Peter Jok, the conference’s leading scorer, to just 4 points in a 35-point NU win over the Hawkeyes in January.

In 2012, forwards John Shurna and Drew Crawford earned first and third team selections, respectively.
