Northwestern and Evanston community members gathered at the Arts Circle on Saturday for a day-long celebration of the arts. The public event showcased a series of exhibitions and performances while also featuring student artists. The day’s events included the Trisha Brown Dance Company performing “Roof Piece,” a site-specific dance executed on top of the buildings surrounding the arts lawn. There was also music from more than 150 cellists, a performance of “The Tea Project” by Aaron Hughes (Graduate School ‘09) and Amber Ginsburg, and a show by The Actors Gymnasium.
