Former President Bill Clinton to campaign for Hillary Clinton in Evanston on Tuesday

Former President Bill Clinton will speak at a Hillary for Illinois event in Evanston on Tuesday morning, according to the Hillary for America campaign.

Bill Clinton will speak at Beth Emet Synagogue, 1224 Dempster St., at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday to campaign for his wife Hillary Clinton, a candidate for the Democratic presidential nomination. According to a news release from Hillary for America, Bill Clinton will address how specifically Hillary Clinton would work for Illinois residents, as well as encourage residents to take advantage of early voting, according to her campaign.

Bill Clinton was the 42nd President of the United States. His last official visit to Evanston was in 2006, when he spoke at Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management about health issues in the U.S.

Hillary Clinton last visited Evanston in October for a fundraiser.
