Power returns after outages reported on North Campus

Power has returned to multiple buildings on North Campus.

More than 15 North Campus buildings have lost power, University Police Deputy Chief Dan McAleer said.

McAleer said no academic buildings have been affected, including Technological Institute. He said ComEd, the power company that serves NU, has been notified and is responding to the outage.

Students have reported power outages in the following buildings:

Phi Kappa Psi

Sigma Nu
Sigma Phi Epsilon
Theta Chi
Zeta Beta Tau

Staff confirmed the Henry Crown Sports Pavillion and Aquatics Center and the Mudd Science and Engineering Library have power. Students reported power is still available in Slivka Residential College, Elder Hall, Ayers College of Commerce and Industry and Kemper Hall.
