Moran has been located safely, police said in an email to Evanston media.

An Evanston resident was reported missing Wednesday morning, police said.

Jeffrey P. Moran, 68, left to go to Walgreens on 3945 Dempster St. at about 7 p.m. Tuesday and has not been contacted ​since ​then​, police said. Moran, who does not have a cell phone or vehicle, is reported to have a medical issue which could affect his cognitive ability and sense of awareness.

Evanston police are requesting that anyone with information about the missing person contact the police department.
