Police found shell casings in west Evanston after responding to a shots fired call Saturday morning, authorities said.

Officers responded to the call at 11:55 a.m. in the 1900 block of Emerson Street, Evanston Police Cmdr. Jay Parrott said.

There were no injuries, Parrott said.
