Dance Marathon 2014 kicked off Friday night and wrapped up Sunday morning. More than 1,500 registered to dance for 30 hours, raising money for Team Joseph, a Detroit-based organization that aims to find a treatment or cure for Duchenne muscular dystrophy. This was DM’s 40th year, with the 2014 edition emceed by Kelsey Adams and Ethan Levine-Weinberg. Early Sunday morning, DM’s finance committee announced the organization had raised a record $1,385,273.
