Police: Northwestern student pees on Coke products at 7-Eleven

A drunk Northwestern student was arrested July Fourth after he peed on inventory items at the 7-Eleven near the Evanston campus, police said.

On Thursday afternoon, the student walked into the convenience store, 817 Emerson St., and urinated on a couple of cartons of Coca-Cola products in a storage area in the back of the building, Evanston police spokesman Perry Polinski said. A police report indicated the student was “not” sober.

“At the time that he was taken into custody, he offered no explanation, or excuses, for what he had been accused of doing,” Polinski wrote in an email to The Daily.

The student was charged with criminal damage to property. He is scheduled to appear in court Aug. 13.
