An Evanston man was shot dead on the South Side of Chicago early Sunday morning, police said.

Police found Blake Ross, 20, in the 2800 block of East 76th Street in Chicago with multiple gunshot wounds to his head and body, said Joshua Purkiss, a Chicago Police Department spokesman.

Ross, of the 2300 block of Greenwood Street, was pronounced dead on the scene at 3:55 a.m., according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.
