Communication junior to compete on ‘Jeopardy!’ college show

Communication junior Daniel Donohue will be one of 15 students featured next month when the “Jeopardy!” College Championship airs, the ABC quiz show announced this afternoon.

The Arlington Heights, Ill., native will travel to Los Angeles on Monday to compete on the show, which will be broadcast over two weeks beginning May 6. The winner will receive $100,000 and an automatic appearance in the show’s Tournament of Champions.

Donohue was selected after taking a 50-question online test and then passing a regional in-person audition including another 50-question assessment, mock game play and a short interview.
